I'm getting married on April 3rd in Tyler. There is a local photographer here named Casey Jay Benson, who is OUTSTANDING. When I got engaged, you of course "shop around" for the photographer who's style best meets with your style. There are soo many photographers here, however most of these are very traditional with the pictures of the bridesmaid bouquet's around the bride's faces (YUCK!). When I found Casey, I was sure he would be our photographer. He has a blog where he uploads pictures and slideshows of weddings/engagements/bridals, etc. The wedding that really caught my eyes was Jamie and Jared's wedding at the HGTV Dream Home. You can find the pictures on his blog under August of 2008. This was the first time I had ever seen underwater wedding pictures done, and it literally took my breath away. I went to a bridal show where Casey was there, and he had this couple's wedding album there. His work is just incredible. So please, check out his blog! And to top it off, The Knot Texas picked him as one of the best photographers in Texas! We just shot my bridals yesterday at the most beautiful location.
