Who was doing the DIY flower petal aisle runner?

One of you ladies was going to do a DIY aisle runner made of flower petals and I wanted to see how it was going. I am looking to do a band of petals along my (cloth) aisle runner on each side and was thinking of getting wide 3" Ribbon and adding the flower petals to that. Anyway, I have no idea how many petals I am going to need to do this, but I was just curious about how yours was coming out.
