Any summer plans?

Does anyone have anything fun planned for summer? If so share!

I'm just enjoying having the summer off. The thing I'm looking forward to the most is Warped Tour. It's my favorite summer music festival, FI and I go every year (even before we met each other, it's more fun now that we have each other though!). Plus, this years lineup is pretty great!

    I have a full summer ahead of me. I have my 12 year-old son coming to visit in July. We're going to be doing tons of gardening and nature hikes. There will be all kinds of trips to different beaches, Rialto, La Push, etc. We'e taking him to the zoo without Willow so we can spend some time with just him. We also want to take him to Seattle and just do whatever our hearts desire for a whole day. Willow starts Kindermusic on July 6th and that happens twice a week until the end of July. I can't wait to bang on things and make all kinds of crazy noise with her! My fiance' is trying to get his own art show at a local coffee shop, and I would like to do the same but I'm pretty busy with Willow, the house, and the garden right now. We try to visit our local Open Aire farmer's market every Saturday. I also want to start doing story time with Willow at the local library this summer.

    The garden is tons of work because it is so HUGE this year. We still have another 16x5 foot wooden frame to build for the second raised veggie bed and then we need to fill it with 3 bales of peat moss. That's an $80 project. I also have a big sort of triangular shaped flower bed that we need to add some compost to and then we can buy some flowers to plant in it. That's the fun part! Being able to buy already grown flowers and just plop them in the ground. We are planning on planting seeds between the flowers that we buy so we can use up all of our seed packets.

    Wheeewwwww! That was alot of stuff.

    Wow, you do have a full summer planned! It sounds like you'll be having plenty of fun though!
