Married (and almost married) ladies- Advice?

I'm 8 days away from becoming a Mrs!  Any advice for my last week of wedding planning?Or reminders of things to do? I'm afraid I'll forget something in all the craziness of the next week.

TIA!  :)

  • I'm still 6 weeks away...but everyone tells me to make sure I make time for just FI and I...go out for a date night, stay in and make dinner, spend a sunday doing something fun...whatever you have to do to make sure you get some alone time! :)

  • I'm 3 weeks away exactly and I'm in the same boat.  Right now I am finalizing little details, just bought a hair clip for my daughter's hair.  Picking out signature drinks.  Still have to make labels for the candy buffet containers.  Scheduled my mani/pedi, and about to shop for the HM this weekend and start making lists for what I need (sunscreen and bug spray gallore).
Definitely always have a pen and paper with you so when you remember something small you can write it down asap so you don't forget.
My mind races like a maniac but for some reason I am able to mentally remember all the little things I have to do - but I still make lists just in case :)

  • Are your seating charts, table/place cards, guest book and other reception items all set?

Those were the things I found myself doing at the last minute.  Favors were together weeks in advance but I was still doing place cards two days before the RD.

Make sure you have everything packed as much as possible now!
  • Don't forget to eat on your wedding day! Make sure you and FI are able to have a good breakfast, lunch, snacks, something to last you through the day! :)

  • I wish I stepped back and watched everyone else enjoying their time on the dance floor. I honestly feel like I blacked out the whole night. Really regret not having a videographer or at least someone recording some of it!

  • I would say to try not and stress this week.  At this point there isn't too much else you can get done.  As long as you have the necessary things done you are fine.  DH and I did go out to dinner just the two of us a few nights before the wedding as a last date night.  Just remember to enjoy yourself because it will go by so quickly.

Some organizational things I did was check with transportation to ensure times were correct and I made a list of all my vendor contact numbers to have on me in case I needed to call someone.  Make sure you have all your bridal party gifts together for the rehearsal dinner and all the outfits you need packed and organized.
