Dress shops

I'm looking to buy a dress for my wedding, but not a wedding gown.  I'm basically looking for an evening gown style dress, that I can add some details to if necessary.  I'm not really sure where to look.  I'm going to probably try Macys and Nordstrom Rack.  Where else should I look?  I'm up in the Bronx, so Queens and Brooklyn are a bit far for me, but for a great shop I'll make the trip.

    Jenny Yoo and Mark Ingram are great bridal shops to find a dress, and they have a large range of designers and types of dresses. They are both located in New York City thought, so I don't know if you want to travel to the city to find your dress
