Antigua - Galley Bay Resort ?

Hey ladies, I was wondering if anyone has stayed at Galley Bay in Antigua and/or has any feedback about it. We are pretty much stuck between it and the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia. We will be traveling at the end of September.

It seems like a really laid-back place, and I like that, but I'm a little torn between the cottages with private pools and the beachfront suites. I'm also not sure if I'll be disappointed with not having room service available. (It seems like kind of a DIY type place and I DO want to be spoiled a little bit).

Any other Antigua or St. Lucia suggestions are welcome as well! TIA!

    Honestly, yes.  It is very mellow and quite beautiful.  The staff took us under their collective wings and we had a great time.  The resort, though, is <u>not</u> a party place.  You can find that on the island though.  If I didn't have another 4 or 5 islands on my Caribbean "to do" list, I would plan a return trip.  LOL!
