  I have been to weddings at ault park and the venue is stunning.  The pavilion has a great space for caterers to work and a bar.
  
  But...you are gonna get nickle and dimed for EVERYTHING, they charge you for chairs, tent, linens, and you have to get the stuff through them, and it adds up fast.  Also, you can not reserve a date more than a year out, and it books up very quickly.  Lots of people call on midnight exactly one year prior.
  
  If you have the money and time to plan for all that I would say go for it, though, a wedding at sunset there is gorgeous.

  We went to a wedding at Ault Park this past summer. It was very nice - the space is beautiful!
  
  The only downside was the weather... the day of the wedding it was extremely hot and humid with absolutly NO breeze.. so everyone was sweating pretty bad all night ...but I guess it's like that with any wedding & reception you hold outdoors.

  If you do decide on Ault Park, try to stick to the Pavilion (vs. the Rose Garden then partying in the Pavilion) as walking/setting up chairs on the lawn is dicey.  3" heels sink very easily as do chairs if the ground is soft.  And there's absolutely NO recourse if it rains.  At least the Pavilion offers shelter.  And in the cooler months, they can provide heaters (but nothing to cool the area).

  Ault Park is a very special place for me and my fiance. Our first date, July 4th fireworks, the proposal... all happened in Ault Park. When we got engaged, two things we knew for sure - we wanted to get married and we wanted to do it at Ault Park.
  We've found Cincinnati Parks website and have been trying to contact the management but haven't heard back from them. No option to leave a voicemail, nobody replied to our emails. A few days after we started calling the website went down...
  I got a feeling we're going to have to do reception elsewhere =(

  Yes, Hyde Park Country Club hosts wedding receptions, but you have to have a current member "host" you and they have to be at the wedding.  The country club is gorgeous, and the event coordinator, Angie, is wonderful!  I know many people, including family members, who have had their receptions here, and been incredibly happy with everything!  Of course, Ault Park is absolutely gorgeous as well, but you do have weather to worry about at the park.  Good luck!

  I know ault park is in the middle of changing their vendors so that might be why you are having a difficult time getting ahold of someone... I just spoke to someone on monday at (513) 221-2610 but they are still working on getting organized... Good luck
