(NWR) NY Cardinal Dolan is coming back to Wisconsin

I'm so excited. One of my favorite WI priest (now NY Cardinal) is coming back to Wisconsin for a homily next week! I know I won't be able to speak to him, because of the expected high turn-out, but it'll be nice to have him back home.

He's sincerely one of the nicest down-to-earth people that I have ever met. I miss his radio shows!

Re: (NWR) NY Cardinal Dolan is coming back to Wisconsin

  • What a blessing. Cardinal Dolan is amazing, from what I know about him. I love that he is equally passionate about the faith and down-to-earth and gifted with a great sense of humor and intelligence. Someone on Catholic Answers the other day described him as someone who they could imagine eating a brat and reading the Summa at the same time. H and I laughed, because we could so picture it.

I don't know why my answer decided to get stuck in italics, but I didn't want to go back and rewrite it. Stupid Knot.

Too bad, we got him now )

I adored his comment when Rush Limbaugh's called the Georgetown coed who voiced her support for advocating the BC controversy a "slut".

He told Limbugh that no matter what the subject, he will deliver his message civilly. "We will be strong and civil."

I think his play words went right over a few heads though.
