Yesterday, FI and I went to meet with the priest. My church is being remodeled and after the meeting he took us in to see the progress. The church has been painted. It looks so clean and bright. The ceiling has an incredible wood ceiling with beam arches which were refinished with a satin finish. The light reflects off the ceiling in a pretty way. All of the wood work was refinished and it looks amazing. The alter was enlarged and a wall next to the alter that was covered was opened so its full of natural light This week the new wood floors are being sanded and stained. The following week the pewes are being reinstalled they were restored off site and hopefully by the 16th the church will be reopened. I can't wait to see the finished product!
