Small ceremony, PLEASE HELP!

I have decided to go with a very small ceremony of about 20 people. I have a family member that will marry us, I just need a beautiful outdoor setting! I live in North Ga. but will travel if worth it. I have chosen to do a small ceremony and have a blast for a honeymoon, then do a reception for friends and family when we return. My fiance's Mom is in a wheelchair so I am limited for locations. Any ideas anybody? A beautiful state park or anything?

I can give you location In Mass but not in Georgia.  This is an international board.  On the left hand side there is a link to all the local boards.  You will want the Georgia boards.   Good luck

You could try one of the many town squares sprinkled around north GA. I'm having mine in the Marietta Square.

I am getting married in November at Barnsley Gardens.  We are having a very small wedding with 10 people attending.  The ceremony will be inside the ruins at Barnsley and a dinner will follow at the restaurant on property.  The ruins are handicap accessible.

Try any of the state parks :) Also, look into Chota Falls since you're having a smaller wedding :)

Hey. One thing we are doing is looking into houses or cabins to rent and we have found a few on vrbo, but that way we only pay like $1000 and this is for a great place, plus your guests can stay over night, not have to travel much, and just bring all your vendors there. IF you need a caterer my fiance and I cater, but even still, just check into some cabins up there. We're trying to find some places with enough room, and there are a few with lake front property. The people are very nice on there. You could also find a cute chapel or hire someone to do a tour waterfall wedding. You wouldn't have to walk really if you go to one close to the parking site. Amicalola would be good. I emailed them a while back. ~Hope this helps, Amanda.

I suggest if you plan on using a rental house or cabin for your wedding/reception you let the rental property manager know that beforehand.  No one wants to be kicked out somewhere due to breaking the rules ;)

Have you looked at Amicalola? Unicoi? Both are wheelchair-friendly as well.

If you type in "elopement package" for North Georgia locations (though you're not eloping,) you can find great deals for around $1000.
