Kleinfeld's Sample Sale in April

Is it worth it to go to this? It's too soon to really buy my dress so I'm not sure if it's just asking for problems. Plus it could very well be a madhouse. Do they have sample sales often? Just trying to see if it's worth the trip into Brooklyn! Thanks!

Is the sale not at their normal location? I'm pretty sure they're in the city and not in Brooklyn.

They used to be in Brooklyn, but moved to Manhattan a few years ago.

Honestly, I had such a bad experience at Kleinfeld's, that unless you know that they have a dress or two in mind that they carry, I wouldn't recommend going, especially during a sale when they'll be super busy.  Or unless you're going to spend over $10,000 on your dress, then they may treat you better than they treated me!

Im not a sample sale fan. Crazy madness- stampedes of brides! Def. A great idea to go in with a plan :) although I have to say, after trying on gowns, I dont know that Id get a sample. They get so roughed up, stepped all over, loose beads etc. However I have heard that Kleinfelds is very strict about what condition they will sell a dress in.

Its not worth it! You are treated like a herd of cattle and for what? A ripped damaged dress?  I would savor the experience and book a time without that drama.

I'm a Kleinfeld bride, but from what I've seen on "Say Yes to the Dress," I wouldn't do it.

You are treated like a number there on a normal day - I can't imagine what it's like during a sample sale!

I'd skip it and try a regular day. Then if you find a dress stalk out the dresses designer , and look for when that person has their trunk show at Kleinfelds. You will get around 12.5 % or more off the ticket price of the dress if it during the designers trunk show : )
