Spring Lake Town Hall

This is probably a longshot, but has anyone been to a wedding at the Spring Lake Town Hall outside of Prior Lake? It's a newer building but the woman I talked to said they've had a few weddings there since it opened.

My mom and I went to check it out but weren't able to go inside. The grounds are pretty and the building was nice from the outside. Just wondering if anyone's been there for an event.

I'm having such a hard time picking a venue. My fiance and I want to have the ceremony outside and would love to have our reception in a barn but all the barns I've found are expensive.

The town hall is only $60 an hour to rent with a maximum of $500 but it's not exactly what we want.

    Picking a venue is one of the hardest decisions! After it's done everything else feels easier. I've never been there, but it sounds like a great price! If I were you I'd keep shopping around a little and you will know what feels right. If you keep coming back to it in your mind, then you've found the place. Also, if you can find a place where you can pick your own caterer, you will save so much money! 
    I don't know how much it costs, but the Earle Brown Heritage Center might be up your alley. Lots of red barn buildings and a lovely area for an outdoor ceremony with fountains and pretty trees.

    </div><div>Totally agree.  I'm glad we booked our venue early :)  How many people are you looking to have? One of the places we looked was Black Bear Crossings.  They had pretty good prices, and their outdoor ceremony was gorgeous.  We decided to have a November wedding, and they couldn't accommodate our guest list for an indoor ceremony, but otherwise we probably would've chosen them. </div><div>

    I haven't been to one there myself, but I've talked to a couple people who have and they thought it was surprisingly nice for it being a little building in a small area. I drive by it all the time as FI and I and family/friends spend a lot of time at the Fish Lake Campground that's maybe a mile away from there. We actually probably would have gone with them if we were having a summer wedding, then it would have been easy to go to the campground and rent a bunch of sites together...
