Just in the beginning stages of consulting with photogs... wondering if you guys had any other suggestions besides... ImagineWurks, Video 21, Kai Media, or Crane Media?

I really wanted Aria, but unfortunately with their new price increases in May they are way out of our budget!!!

We're looking for Prep, Ceremony, Reception, Slideshow, and SDE.

    aww and i was going to suggest ARIA :) i looove kolby!  we also looked at studio red :) i think there's also a new one 10th letter media

    I know! I have been following ARIA's blog FOREVER. But the all day package - prep, ceremony, reception, SDE is now $6500!!! Surprised Even if I had the $, I dont know if I could part with $6500 for video... :(

    We initially thought that we couldn't afford the videographer either, until we came across Prince7Studios http://www.prince7studios.com/. Princeton is a creative genius who is super down to earth and great to work with. You have to check him out! Tell him Lana recommended him to you :) HTH

    We adore Studio Red, even though we haven't seen their work from our wedding.  They were such a blast to work with.  However, I think their pricing is close to Aria once you count everything.  Others we looked at:

    10th Letter
    Fisheye studios
    Colour Craft Media
    Image Creations

    I will say, if you can live without the SDE, that takes a lot of cost out.  SDEs require additional cameras and immediate editing, and I think it requires a 3rd shooter for some companies.  Just a consideration.  We made a slideshow and love story ourselves which we showed at the reception...the love story requires a little video expertise, but a slideshow you could definitely do yourself and save a lot of cash!

    We booked ARIA and love Kolby as well.  We are not doing an all day package...i think just six hours...so no prep at the condo but coverage of us at the venue getting ready. Have you talked with her...if not perhaps you can negotiate a  custom package with her...i did...plus you should be able to get the kamina...not sure if i spelled it correctly...rate. HTH! J. :-)
