Is 3 hours too long for a strip tour with guests?

If you had a party bus with guests - how long was your photo strip tour? Would 3 hours be too long for your guests? I orginally booked 3 hours with Todd because I thought we'd be doing the boneyard. That is not happening so I am wondering if I should shorten it to 2 hours and just focus on the strip.

Thoughts?

I have never done the strip tour but 3 hours seems long for a bus ride. I would guess 1-2 hours is normal. I'm not sure of your schedule but you can always use Todd for the first hour of your reception or have him take some getting ready pictures before the wedding to fill the time.

Thanks, I thought about using Todd for something else. Getting ready pics would be great but it would cost me another hour since he'd have to wait around during the ceremony. Maybe we'll just take photos around our hotel or even our suite. Maybe freshing up photos can be my getting ready shots

I think it depends on the time of day you are planning to be on the strip. If it's high traffic time you may only get 3 locations in over 3 hours. As long as you are playing some fun music and having a good time I think your guests would have a good time. See about bringing on some beverages and snacks in case ayone gets hungry.

We are a COF couple as well, and have Todd booked from 4.30 - 8.30.

Wedding is at 6 so that gives us time for getting ready shots. It is annoying that he will have to hang around during the ceremony, but we are going to get out of there ASAP and have a 2 hour strip tour before our reception in Mandalay Bay at 8.30pm.

Yes, isn't it a pain that COF won't allow outside photogs? I would have been happy to pay a vendor fee.
