  Oh Sue, I love your dress too!  I actually tried that on but the season and my figure dictated something a little more traditional. :-)

  My knottie bio has a pic of an Alfred Angelo that I am somewhat duplicating and making myself for the ceremony. I've sewn for over 40 years, and currently have 3 patterns I'm using to make the dress. I won't have the uptake on the side, it will be between an A line and mermaid. I have over 8 yards of ivory silk dipioni with pearls sewn on every 1-2 inches for the dress, plus plain silk in the same color for the lining & ruching.
  
  I have another pattern for a lace bolero I'll be making out of pearled & beaded lace as well.

  This is (HOPEFULLY) my dress.  I didnt know that it arrived on Thursday, and it has been sitting in the Front Office of our complex.  UGHHHHHHH!!!!  I have confirmed that the box is in their possession, but its taken all my will power to not leave work early.  If the dress is as pictured, it will be the biggest score, as I paid $112 on it from ebay.  If its not the dress, I know I can get a refund, but it will be sooooooo depresssssed!

  So how messed up is that, the picture of the dress totally took over the post !  Too funny   Anyway, I was going for simple but, elegant and it's in ivory rather than white.  The back is low cut with a bow and buttons down, My luck, if I try posting the back view it will take over as well, but, you can see pics on my bio..
