Dress appropriate for 2nd?

I am not a super traditional person, but I'm wondering if this is a bit too much out there as it's an evening gown.  But the thing is that I absolutely love it, more than anything else I've seen by a mile.  It comes in the blue shown and also in burgundy and black.

    This is your chance to wear exactly what YOU want -- tradition be damned!  That is a gorrrrgeous dress, and if you love it and feel beautiful in it, that's all that matters.  Congratulations!

    For what it's worth, I'm wearing ivory.. but it's knee length and backless.  Perfect for my beach wedding, and for my second wedding, I wanted to wear my DREAM dress.. and this is it!  My mom originally thought I should be wearing a long gown, since I'm still a "young bride" (I'm 31).. but when she saw the dress that I chose and feel so beautiful in, she agreed it was perfect for me.

    as a bride to be for wedding #2, I LOVE THIS! I'm sticking to ivory b/c it's my fiance's first wedding and he's very traditional. But I LOVE THIS DRESS! GO FOR IT, Blue too! Black and Burgandy are overdone!

    My cousin wore a dress that was blue, it was gorgeous and people STILL talk about what a beautiful dress she wore and how it was different then everyone elses!

    I vote blue that is an amazing dress if you want it go for it! I agree black and burgandy are so over done!!!!  Let us know what you decide

    I love that dress in blue.  There shouldn't be any outside social pressure affecting what you want to wear, it's beautiful dress. Do it your way!

    Thanks everyone.  I've definitely decided to go with the blue, the only issue is that none of the stores in Minnesota or Wisconsin that carry Jovani have this dress in store to try on, so I'm ordering it without trying it on.  I do have another evening dress in similiar cut, so I'm pretty sure that the shape will work for me.

    I kind of have a tentative concept going (below).  And I found a space that I think will work great for the ceremony about a mile from my house, in the pic it's the one on the bottom right.

    I adore the dress and say blue or red! I have an ivory dress and a red dress...it is both our 2nd and final real marriages and we are doing everything we want. No tradition except th eones we want to create and carry on.

    This is about the two of you make is personal and special to you, nobody else!
