Beach Ceremony - Roses or Bubbles

We are having our ceremony on the beach. Trying to figure out what we should have people toss at the end of the ceremony (think that's when you do it, right?). Since we are outdoors on the beach, trying to be environmentally conscious. So, was thinking Rose petals as our venue confirmed these are fine or my fiance suggested bubbles. Thoughts?

    Roses would be gorgeous- too bad you're not getting married RIGHT NOW when all of the cherry trees are losing their blossoms! :)

    I think bubbles are wicked cute!!  Annnd you can get non sticky bubbles that don't pop right away (my 5mo LOVES them and they really aren't sticky, weird I know)..they have them for kids you'd have to do some research but I think they have them at Gymboree lol gl and thanks for the great idea!!
