So, my date is tonight. And I'm really excited, but it's been one big pile of fail so far.
He was supposed to pick me up at 4, but I guess decided to do it differently, but didn't tell me, so he told me he'd be here at 445. I thought that meant that traffic was horrid (thank you, DC), and so I told him I'd be fine driving. So, I was supposed to leave 5 min ago. Well, the car that I was supposed to take we couldn't find a key for, and then when dad found it, the tire pressure was super low, and it needed oil, so we added oil and tried to start it. It took about 4 seconds to actually come on, and then sounded god-awful and the service engine soon light is on. At that point, he said he was coming to get me.
So, I'm just annoyed with my family at this point. I expressly said I didn't want to fly home because I wanted my car. Too bad, they told me. So, I flew. And now I need a car. And I can't take the Hyundai because Ma is picking my uncle up from the airport, and I can't take the truck because they're terrified I'm going to get drunk (it's a first date guys, not a shiit show) and won't be home for mom's retirement tomorrow.
So, please for good vibes for tonight. I'm really not worried about it, but if I could get some wonderful extra help, that'd be awesome!
