Cool and different save the date ideas

Does anyone have a cool or funny save the date idea?  I want to do something a little different.  Every save the date I have ever got was a magnet or a picture of the couple.

My FI is really into music and going to concerts so I was thinking of doing a concert type ticket like this one. 

Let me know if you have any other ideas and let me know if you like my idea :)

    I think that is a very cute idea.  Would you attach it to a card or something?

    I love that idea!  Maybe you could make that into a magnet so people could put it on the fridge and then attach the magnet to a separate card like gibribuz said.

    I've seen really cool boarding pass and passport ones for destination weddings, but that obviously wouldn't work for you.

    Yes I would do it as a magnet and then it comes with matching envelopes I will stil have to work out all of the details as far as the wrapping part goes.  I am trying to find a site that has it as a magnet and not just paper.

    If you can't find them as magnets, you can just make them into magnets yourself using adhesive magnet paper... that's what I did for mine and they looked great.

    Ok so I just did some more research they are actual thermal tickets and they are perforated on the edges like a normal one.  They have an option to order the actual sticky magnet part that is the same exact size of the ticket.  Then we will just have to peel and stick them ourselves.  I think that would work.  And they also send them with larger envelopes. 

    Lol I am so ahead of the game I still have 1 year and 7 months to go to the wedding so I dont even need to order them for like another year I hope it gets here soon!!

    Try totallymagnets.com. I went with the traditional pic of us on the magnet with a design on it, but they had some really unique stuff on there, and I'm almost certain I saw one that looked like a ticket. The best part about this website is that you pick the basic template and then pick the colors, wording, fonts, etc you want. Plus, really reasonably priced. gluck
