  we did the dollar dance as it's tradition on both sides of the family.  we made it into a competition since we are a "house divided"....whoever had the larger stack of cash got to hear their college teams fight song (i'm ohio state and dh is michigan...of course ohio state won! lol).  everyone really got into it.    if you do either one, why not donate it to a favorite charity?

  </div><div>I am so not a fan of dollar dances and especially that awful dash for cash.  I wish the brides and grooms of this area would just stop doing it.  It is terribly tacky....I have been to a few friends weddings when they did this.  We left.  The one bride had her guests putting the cash in inappropriate places.  Your guests are doing enough for you without handing over wads of cash.  </div><div>
