Terrace on Grand?

My Fiance and I are VERY interested in booking our reception here. Does anyone know how far in advanced you can reserve your date? http://www.theknot.com/kl_vendordetail.html?savevendor=1&id=200761&vendorsearch=Y&market=005&category=CAR&keyword=KANSAS%20CITY

Not sure, but have you been out to look at it yet?  I LOVED all the pictures of it online - it seemed perfect - and then we went out to see it in person.  It's difficult to find, buried in a strip mall sort of fashion, and much, much smaller than it appears online.  I was quite disappointed.  Not trying to rain on your parade but definitely go check it out!!  Good luck :)

I was also very interested, but got engaged in April and tried to book for a June 2010 wedding, and the whole month(Saturdays) was booked. So I guess you can book pretty far in advance. I was pretty disappointed since I thought it was fairly new. I hope it works better for you, GL!

oh we fully intend on viewing the facility before booking! but we are planning on getting married 7-21-10 [one year from today] and i know with our ceremony site we have to book EXACTLY one year to the day!

I have already booked this venue for my wedding in may, 2010. he had someone "penciled in" for my date when i looked at it initlaly (about a month ago) but she has since released my date and i booked it. so it seems like it is booking VERY quickly!  it's a great place though...a little more expensive than some others, but i think the rooftop deck makes it totally worth the cost!

My fiance and I have also booked ToG for out June 2010 wedding. But we booked it back in April. The date we wanted was already taken so we had to take the weekend after. June 19th instead of the 12th. I think it's a great location. Although it is pricey, you get a lot, 3 floors to be exact. Although the 2nd floor isn't complete right now, it's supposed to be finished by next year with a bridal suite and "ceremony room." The only bummer about that is the windows look directly out at a "live nudes" neon sign. Nice. We've opted to have the ceremony on the thrid floor, cocktails on the roof, and dinner back on the thrid floor. I know they have some constraints with noise on the roof too. You can't have any live music up there. The place is nice, and just simple enough that it can accept many styles of decorations.Good luck!
