Response card angst!

So today is the due date for our response cards and we still have 31 people (62 possibly) that we have heard nothing from!  I know people say to wait a few days, but did most of you have this many?This is pretty redic.

    I don't remember how many we had, but I waited a couple days past our due date before contacting any of them. In the end, we only had to call or email 5 parties. Unfortunately, many guests seem to think that the 'RSVP by' date is the same as a postmark date. I'm sure you'll get quite a few replies by the end of the week. Hang in there!

    It's pretty crazy, but we had to track down 15 RSVPs for my shower of 30! Some people just figure you know they'll be there *sigh*Good luck!

    Our due date past a few days ago and now we have to contact 51 people. That probably translates to 25 families, but still!!! I feel your pain! I think it's going to be awkward to call and say, "Hey, are you coming?" lol...I think I'm going to have my sister/MOH do it for me! ;)

    Isn't it crazy that ADULTS can't seem to stick a card WITH a stamp in the mail over a few weeks time!!  We waited a few days b/c it was a holiday weekend, but then I had my parents and FI's parents call their friends and family and FI and I called our friends (i.e. our bridal party!!!)  We were still contacting people a week or two past the date. Ugh, the joys of wedding planning. :0)

    I just don't understand why people don't RSVP on time! The minute I open a wedding invitation I fill out the card and mail it back within two days usually...that way I don't forget to do it!! I bet you those people who have not responded probably just set the invitation aside thinking "I'll do this later" and forgot all about it. hopefully youll get those responses soon!

    our deadline is July 22 (wed.) and well...we have 30 (pot.. 60) still out.. I have some of those people that RSVP'd to the shower.. so I'm assuming they are coming to the wedding.
