Help me with shoes!

Ok, So I posted these (the shoes posted below) on the September board and they got horrible reviews. Which is fine, but I'm really stuck about what shoes I should get. I allready bought 4 pair that I don't like. Does anyone have an suggestions?? I was looking some something with a vintage flair. Maybe something a little off-beat? Please help!!

Have you checked zappos, endless, 6pm, dsw, and piperlime?  They're the best sites for finding a wide variety of shoes, IMO.  I know of a few girls who have had luck on ebay, too, with finding shoes that were slightly unusual.FWIW, the shoes you posted are completely NMS, but all that matters is that *you* like them.  That said, since you're clearly struggling with this decision (as evidenced by the four already-purchased pairs) and you seem to really like these, then why not go with these and not worry about others' opinions?

I don't think I could pull them off, but I think there's something cute about them & I think they match your style. Who cares what other people think - you're wearing them! What about something like this (from endless):BTW, have you checked out Repeat After Me? It's a bridal consignment shop right next to Leola Village and I've seen a lot of this type of shoe there.

I agree with pp--you bought the previous pairs because you liked something about them, who cares what anyone else thinks! I bought bright pink shoes and I have a few people who think that it's silly, and who cares! It's your day and wear what YOU like!!!

I personally LOVE the shoes that you posted. They are off-beat and have a vintage flair, seems like they're exactly what you're looking for.

Thanks girls. You've really helped me out on this one. I appreciate everyone's honest feeback. I'm going to go ahead an order them to atleast try them on and see them in person. (They are only available in the UK). If they don't work, I'll just ship them back, no bg deal. I figure I should at least give them a chance like my other 4 pairs of shoes, haha. Again, thanks so much so for helpful advice and honest feedback. I can always count on my local girls!!

I did some googling for you and only found vintage shoes like those in the UK.  I wonder why that is.  I saw some really gorgeous shoes, but they were sooooo expensive.  I hope you find what you like--don't pay attention to what others say.  This is something that is totally personal and somewhat private because not that many people will see your shoes anyhow. Ohh, where did you find the other cute shoes? I'm curious. These are also from the UK, and very expensive.

I just googled vintage inspired shoes or vintage wedding shoes and came up with tons of blogs and whatnot.  It was not easy to find the actual places to find all the shoes.  This site had these which I thought were really cute http://www.harrietwilde.com/mableI also had another idea for you.  I've seen custom made ballroom dance shoes somewhere on the internet, but I can't remember where (I'm sorry).  Anyhow, if not custom, maybe vintage ballroom dance shoes in general.Good luck,Lisa Beth

New thought:What if you just found a basic pump or sandal, then added shoe clips (or a vintage brooch or something?). These shoe clips are from etsy: (sorry if they're big!)
