Groom Present

I am ashamed to say this, but I don't know what to get my Groom. I plan to spend 200-300 on his gift, but what do you get the guy who has everything? Something stylish, something unique, but something a guy would want. Anything you can think of would help!

    I think for FI's next birthday I'm going to get him a jewelry box from this really awesome high-end store with branches in DC. It's called appalachian spring and they sell all kinds of stuff by artisans. We walked in there a few weeks ago and he mentioned that a box like that would be a good place to store all of his military junk (pins, ribbons, etc) but you could put other stuff in there as well. see http://www.appalachianspring.com/category.cfm/crafts/handcrafted-jewelry-boxesSorry, that's the best i have (!)

    I gave my groom a wife.  He gave me a husband.  They were the best gifts we could have asked for.If you really want to go all out, butt-cherry is guaranteed to get a good response.  Guys love that!

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     I don't think my fiance would like me doing boudoir photos. Something about someone else seeing me all scandalous-looking. Maybe if the photographer was a chick. I dunno. I'm not comfortable enough with my body to have it all on display.

    Yeah, my photog is a chick, and she's crazy good at vintage photos, as is the make-up artist doing my look. I'm doing it for FI because he HATES that I never want my photo taken. I'm also forcing myself to dress up, have professional make up done and have photos of myself taken. I'm not even really showing much more than some thigh. I have one of his shirts and ties, one of his fedoras, then a long gown and a corset with frilly shorts. I know he'll love them, just because I finally shut the hell up and let someone take my photo. :)

    Same here, I will request a female photographer. I would feel totally comfortable infront of a woman but not so much a dude.

    I'm giving him boudoir pics.  Although he should just be happy that he's lucky enough to marry a woman as awesomely spectacular as myself.

    Thanks...to the people with real suggestions. He wants a gift...and I want to give him something nice. I don't think that the pin up thing is his style...he would probably be more worried about who took them. Perhaps a expensive bottle of liquor would be a really nice gift. Unique, and something we can share! Thanks ladies!

    I did budoir photos (taken by a girl) not pin-up style, but fi loved them...I was so excited about how they turned out I gave them to him early.

    I didn't mean to piss on the TV idea...it is just a bit out of my price range. I would like it if I wasn't a struggling student:-( LOL at being offended because your suggestion was to get my FI a wedding. Did that. Besides, my question was looking for a bit more...obviously.Thanks again ladies!
