Candy Buffet - Please Help!!!!

I've decided to go with candy buffet centerpieces. I already have an oversized martini glass for each table and plan on putting several other glass vases or jars around. Does anyone have ideas about where I could purchase the vases or jars on a budget (meaning less than $5/ea)?  I've checked a few dollar stores and ikea and just haven't found anything that would work. Also any recommendations on where I should purchase my bulk candy from?  Local or online? I would really appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance Ladies :)

A good place to look for your jars/vases:http://www.save-on-crafts.com/As for the candy, if you have a membership at Costco or Sams Club (or know someone who does and is willing to bring you there) that should work....even GFS sells candy in bulk, they just don't have as much to chose from.

I've seen those big martini glasses at Michaels. As for candy- our lady got everything at Costco/Sams. That way, she could get everything in bulk sizes. (PS- great choice with the candy buffet.. ours was a HUGE hit) (PSS- make sure they set some aside for you. I never tasted a piece of it because it was gone in a flash haha)

We would like to do a candy buffet for our reception next year. Do any of you have pictures of what your candy buffet looked like?

I just bought a ton of vases at Goodwills and Salvation Armys to put candles in in the windowsills of our venue. They were uber cheap. Like, the most expensive one was $3. I got about 20 vases for $30. Just obviously make sure to watch them well if you do that.
