Spain & Italy 2 week

We are planning a 2 week vacation to Spain and Italy June 2010, any recommend places to stay/see/do:Italy-Venice-Tuscany-Rome (maybe)Spain-Madrid-Barcelona (maybe)-Seville-La Coruna

    Thanks Bree and Goo...great info!! I'm more into the rural least touristy areas, however, with Rome obviously I wanna see the city. Just trying to decide on Spain if Madrid or Barcelona is better? We are definately going north west to La Coruna to visit relatives. Heres what I got so far: Week 1: Venice 2 nights Tuscany 3 nights (day trips) Rome 2 nights Week 2: Madrid or Barcelona 5 nights (day trips) La Coruna 2 nights

    I know that wine tasting is closer to Barcelona than Madrid...and Barcelona is a beach city.  So those may be some things to consider.  Also, is La Coruna closer to one or the other? That would cut down travel time.
