Reception Color Ideas.....

So I need some opinons on how to decorate the hall for the reception. I know i have some time - but it is really been annoying me lately that I can't figure out how to decorate it. See I want my colors to be black and hot pink - the BM's are all wearing short black cocktail dress with hot pink flowers. The guys are wearing black tux's with silver vests - and then a pink flower. The hall that I'm having this at - you have to use the chair covers (otherwise they are these really ugly maroon office chairs). Anyways - my mom suggested that I do black table clothes, with black napkins and the black chair covers - and then have the hot pink center pieces in the middle. I'm just afraid with her suggestion that it will be too dark in the room. The other idea I had was maybe putting some of the aqua/tiffany (bright) blue in there also - and then having white table clothes with a blue runner down the middle and then the hot pink arrangement in the center. But then how would I do the seat covers?? Any suggestions would be great - or if you have any pics you could send this way of different ideas - Thanks again!!

    I like your mom's suggestion for the black tablecloths and chair covers.  To add in more color, you could use some sort of ribbon on the chair cover (like the picture, but in your colors).  I think your colors would look pretty both with or without the addition of tiffany blue, too.  GL!

    At our AHR, we had black napkins on white tablecloths with bright pink flowers/centerpieces. If the GMs are wearing white shirts, you could probably do either black tablecloths and white chaircovers and vice versa, bring in the bright punch of pink on the centerpieces. No matter what you decide, all of those colors mesh so well together, you almost can't go wrong!
