  Sex in a pan is my default dessert. It's not lemony or cupcake-y...but it's so friggin good, everyone loves it. And it's the easiest thing to make in the history of the universe. Plus it's a layer dessert, so it looks pretty. [url]http://southernfood.about.com/od/cakespiesdesserts/r/bl30418d.htm[/url]Also, I often use skim milk, whole wheat flour and low fat cream cheese to make it healthier, and still tastes amazing.

  Hey Jens - for the sex dessert, what do you think would be a good substitute for pecans?  Would almonds work there?  I've been wanting to try it, but I'm not a pecan fan.

  I can imagine the conversation going something like... wow, this is good. what is it? It's Sex in a Pan, Grandma! To go with the sex on the beach drink you're enjoying! These all sound yummy- I'm seriously going to need to roll dice or something to pick one! I'm glad I asked for many since apparently she has dietary restrictions so now I can make something that won't kill her... Thanks to all!On a more random note, I had this sunflower ice cream today- kinda odd, but they made this peanut brittle like candy from sunflower seeds- does anyone have anything similar to make a recipe from?

  Giggity, I think chopped or slivered almonds would be just fine in there. You could even skip the nuts altogether for a more allergy-safe version. They just get mixed in with the crust for some extra texture, so I bet most people wouldn't miss them.
