What to wear to rehearsal

We're having a more informal rehearsal and rehearsal bbq following. I was thinking maybe a day dress, or something similar? What are you all wearing? Suggestions?

We had a semi-formal rehearsal/RD, so I wore a blue cocktail dress by CK with silver heels.

We are doing something similar - we rented a park shelter and having a BBQ style dinner.  I found a cute black sundress from Charlotte Russe to wear.

We are doing an informal dinner and I am wearing a white sun-dress (I think!).

We had our rehearsal in a family members back yard with LeAnn Chin's catered.  Everyone still wore nice outfits and I wore a black dress from White House Black Market.

I wore my mother's wedding dress that she wore 25 years ago- it was a simle sleeveless white tea length sun dress... really pretty and very meaningful!

I'll probably do a day dress as well for mine. It'll be indoors at Nye's, so it doesn't need to be too fancy.

I wore a white, swiss dot, cotton dress from J. Crew.  Super easy, breezy.  Ours was casual.

I wore a navy cocktail dress with a shrug sweater cardigan and heels. FI wore an argyle sweater with a dress shirt underneath and slacks. Overall-ours wasn't formal but pretty much everyone wore cocktail dresses for the ladies and sweaters/slacks for the guys. I'd say for yours a day dress would be good. For the bride especially, it's always ok to dress up a little more than dress down.
