Buyer Beware

Do NOT order from BombayFasions.com. This is a little long. The website has really great and inexpensive Indian fashion jewelry- but it is not worth the headache that will come with it.I placed an order with them in February of this year which came relatively quickly (less than 1 week for shipping from Chicago to NY)- but there were at least 2-3 items missing.  When I called customer service I never received a live person but when I emailed them they let me know right away that they would give me a credit as those 2-3 items were no longer in stock. So fine.I placed a second order on May 4th of this year to include items that showed to be in stock along with my credit that I received from them.  It is now close to the end of July and I have nothing from them.  I called them- found out that the number is disconnected.  The website states that their offices moved from Illinois to Michigan. My order status states "Thank you for your order email". I email them stating my order is missing - I get an immediate response "Please send us your order number and we will let you know the status" I send my order # to them and I get no response. AGH!! This all happened over a week ago. Anyhow- it is so frustrating since I wanted these items to give to my FMIL and my BM's (who have always admired Indian jewelry) and I have no idea when they'll arrive-  or if they ever will. :/

That stinks. I hope that everything can get straightened out. Did they actually charge your credit card?As a side note, I've had really great experiences with the seller India Trend (http://stores.shop.ebay.com/India-Trend__W0QQ_armrsZ1). Even if she didn't have a certain style I wanted in stock, I emailed her with a picture and she found it for me. If you need to get jewelry quickly for your BM's, I suggest her. :-)

Aww I"m sorry that happened to you!  But thanks for the PSA for future buyers!  You only have 1 month to dispute credit card charges??  Did you already try calling your credit card company?  If not, I'd hound them and tell them this place is a scam and see if they'd be willing to cancel the charges. Also, I'd report them to the better business bureau.  I'd also email them and let them know that you're unhappy with their service and have filed a formal complaint with the BBB...and that you hope that this matter can be resolved as soon as possible.  Good luck!

Update! After tearing them a new one over email.  Since they apparently don't like answering their phones. I miraculously received an automatic credit to my CC! YAY!
