rehearsal dinner invites?

Would it be completely inappropriate to do an evite for the rehearsal dinner invitations? Evite has some cute wedding themed invitations. We're not having anything too fancy, so I was hoping this would work out. Thoughts/opinions? Thanks!

We are using evites for the rehearsal at the venue but sending regular paper invites for the dinner since more people will be coming to the dinner then the rehearsal.I think either way is fine as long as everyone who is being invited  has an email address.

I think that would be totally fine. I love evites!Technically you don't even need RD invites, but I like them so there is no confusion as to who is invited and everyone knows the details.

Nope I did an e-vite. Everyone liked it!There are a few people who are older and don't use the InterWebz, so I just told them/counted them separately. And some people don't respond on the e-vite and just tell you verbally that they're coming. When that happens you can edit the guest replies to show that they're coming. It's helpful for tracking responses.

We went back and forth and finally decided on regular invites.  But it was a close call.P.S. if you look up suggested wording, some of it is very funny about venus, mars, gardens, butterflies.  I just wanted something simple...

i totally would have prefered cute evites over what my FIL's picked... totally tacky looking computer paper with champagne flutes on it... it's okay though, i don't need to be completely control of everything, right?! haha.
