Washington-Seattle

On the other side :) (you know there's pip!)

Okay.. I'm far too tired to write a review right now... but I will say the things that messed up during the wedding, and life moved on! :P
-My bouquet was a disaster. It was horrible. haha.. who cares, all you do is walk down an aisle with it for ten seconds.
-We bought three corsages for the moms/SIL and they were left in the fridge, never worn. :P
- The BMs forgot to flair out my train when I got up the aisle (oops!).
- We got to the end of our first look photo session and were about to start taking pics with the bridal party when it started POURING rain! it's okay. We got a couple cute umbrella pictures :o)
- I had the flu Friday-Saturday before the wedding and was throwing up anything I would try to put in my stomach.. yeah..t hat sucked. even water :( So I didn't get to eat anything or drink anything at the wedding... lame.
Some pip!!

(out of order, BM, BM, me, BM/sis after makeup and hair)

(my sister was like, "here hold the champagne and pretend you're enjoying it!!" )

(first dance was a waltz that H taught be literally two minutes before the ceremony! We totally forgot until the last second.. oops! haha.. Also, I didn't bustle my gown because I totally forgot about taking it to the seamstress to have that done.. it worked out just great though!)

Thank you ladies (cough cough mgoss and sparent ;) ) for all your help through the planning process! It has been an amazing few months and I'm so thankful I found this board! <3

hahah aww yay :) I'm glad you're more excited now :o)

The thing that blew my mind was how well our families connected. It was really amazing.. They all danced together, laughed and told stories together (spent friday night, saturday day, and then the wedding day together doing different things). I am so haaaapppyyyyy :)

But now I have to wait for.ev.errzzz for your pics.. *sigh* I'm impatient. :P

    thanks Chelsea!
I definitely am in love with my gown. I thought I would do a trash the dress shoot, but that was when I had my other dress that I didn't like much.. This one I want to keep all pretty and clean.. and idk why..  haha!
The flu sucked but luckily my H took charge of things so I didn't feel stressed about  it :) Good man. <3

Congrats MRS and welcome to the "other side"!  Despite all the meh's that came your way, it looks like you had a beautiful wedding!  Just think... you never have to plan a wedding again Laughing

haahaha so true! It's funny because all the meh's weren't really meh's at the time. You just don't care when the time comes.. You just care about spending time with friends, family, and hubby. :) (as I'm sure you experienced mgoss).
Mgoss what was the biggest meh at your wedding?

The rain, for sure, was the biggest meh.  I didn't care that much, but it would have been awesome to have an outdoor ceremony.  But there are always VR's for that! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-wink.gif" border="0" alt="Wink" title="Wink" />

And the best part of wedding, imo, is all the love you feel from friends and family.  All the little oops shrink and hide behind all the love on the big day.  FTL, we are eye-to-eye with that!

haha sparent.. I saw that in the monday recap and it made me giggle so I thought this morning I definitely had to post :) Thank you for caring!
I will wait for you. And if I don't... I will come back for you! :P

mgoss, the rain definitely is a bummer.. I'm thankful we got pictures before it, and we chose indoors for the ceremony/reception. It's too hard to trust WA.. I mean.. Friday and Saturday were BEAUTIFUL days. and then look what happened Sunday... But I don't mind.. Things like the weather I don't stress over because I know it's completely out of my control.
Did you guys plan on an outdoor ceremony and have to move indoors, or?

We had a Plan A (Good Weather = Outdoor) and a Plan B (Bad Weather = Indoor).

They both would have worked fine and both had an easy transition to the cocktail hour.  It was all a matter of waiting until the morning to decide where exactly the ceremony was going to take place.  I knew getting married in May (but really ANY month) in Western WA is hit or miss with the weather.

ATTN:  ALL Western WA Brides:  ALWAYS HAVE A PLAN B FOR RAIN! :::steps off soap box:::

yeah that was a smart move.. I don't understand why people would ever NOT have a plan B for a WA wedding.. too risky for me!!
Also, we got some pro teasers!!!

    yay!! <3

Have you picked your budget for a photog yet?
I think that was the hardest part of the vendor search.. forming lists of vendors in our budget. Although once we did that, it was a piece of cake to find them all :) Like Kristin.. She was the first person we met with (for photographers) and while we liked plenty of them, she just stuck in our head. Of course everyone clicks with different people.. but I definitely recommend checking her out though, especially because she is so easy with travel and doesn't charge extra for that (not that your out of her travel range anyway).

I was wondering where you had your ceremony at? You look absolutely beautiful in your pictures. Congrats on the wedding :)
