Growing Wheatgrass

I'm wondering how many of you have grown wheatgrass for your wedding.  I'm thinking of using it in a centerpiece and also at the escort card table.  Would love to hear any advice on growing it before I give it a go.  Also, any creative ideas would be appreciated as well.

    I asked my DH about this when I saw your last post.  He said it can be tricky to grow, but that it is relatively cheap.  I'll ask him tonight how exactly you should grow it; he has a degree in Horticulture, so that's right up his alley.  :)

    Great! THanks!  I wonder if I can grow it in a big plot and cut it to fit my container or if I should just start it in the container...
