I can't remember if I ask this or not, but I asking again because I have no idea what we are doing. What is everyone doing for their exit? (petals, bubbles, sparklers, etc.)
haha second line is a traditional new orleans thing - the bride carries a decorated umbrella and the groom has a cane and leads a processional the guests have handkerchiefs and they parade out waving them there is music that goes along with it as well. We used the handkerchiefs as our favorSecond line is done for funerals as well, the casket is carried and then the family and friends parade behind - which is where the name comes from, second line
oh how fun! the second line idea sounds like a blast!! too bad I am not from Louisana. I might incorporate my korean culture with the final exit. Why are there so many details in a wedding? And of course our honeys don't really know anything about this stuff.
I am doing bubbles probably. Our place will only let us do birdseed, petals, or bubbles. My friend however did deer corn. Their wedding was in the country and the place didn't have a problem with that. Unfortunately I didn't get to go but mother did and she said that stuff HURT when people were throwing it!! So another why we are doing bubbles.
