Hair/Makeup in Fairfield County

Hey Ladies,Do any of you have good recommendations for hair and makeup in the Fairfield County area?  I am pretty sure Dana Bartone and some of the other names I have heard on here are booked for my date because of a breast cancer benefit, so any other ideas you have would be great.  Thanks so much!

    I am in FF county and I am using some of the favorites from the Hudson Valley board.  Stratos  (www.hairbystratos.com)  for my hair and Jill from Bobbie Brown (www.jkflashy.com)  for my makeup.  I had trials with both and love them both.  I would highly recommend both of them.

    I am using Hair salon in Fairfield for both. I think their prices are pretty reasonable and I just had my trials which I was really happy with.

    I had hair and makeup done at JoDavi in Trumbull and was very pleased.

    Check out Donna Puma http://www.donnapuma.com/ I had my makeup trial and it was awesome! The price is right and she travels!

    Are you looking for someone to travel to you, or is a salon ok?  If you're interested in a salon, I used Adam Broderick in Ridgefield for my wedding and was really happy.  They're a bit on the pricy side, but I find them well worth it (and they can accommmodate larger numbers of people which was a plus for me).  I use them as my regular salon as well.     i am using Aqua Salon in Shelton.  if you're willing to split between 2 places, there is a girl named Kim at PJ & Company Salon in Shelton that does the absolute BEST updos i have ever seen.  (i worked there for a while with her....she's just the absolute best at wedding hair.  there are pictures of her work up on their website...)  they don't do makeup, but Simply Body Spa is in the same plaza and they do it.

    Wow, thanks for all of the great suggestions!  I don't really care if they come to me or I go to the salon, as long as the work they do is good.  I hate going with someone I know nothing about.  Thanks for all of the help! I have lots of calls/emails to make now!
