That is a good question! I'm on for a little bit, then heading to work. I've been swamped this week. SUCK. But i'm hoping to be around more today than I have been. How about you?

Yeah, I've missed you!We have some errands to run in awhile but Mr. B's still sleeping so I'll be around for a couple of hours anyway. Someone stayed up too late playing X box.I think we're going to lounge by the pool later.

Oh, the summer life of a teacher. Color me jealousE! The good news is, i'm hoping to work my butt of today so I can maybe NOT work my butt off tomorrow. That'd be fab.

I didn't do nuthin'!A poster put up a much-suspected MUD thread the other day about how her FI wants to invite a female friend to the wedding. A female friend whom he has been drunk with and slept in the same bed with since he and poster have been together. A bunch of us told her to run for the hills and somehow, she's singled me and notquiteblushing out as "terrorizers". She came back on yesterday and said she was reporting everyone. A day after another mysterious poster with only a few posts said the same thing. And just now, a third new poster did the same thing.Chit Chat should be renamed the Crazy Chicks board.

Aw, thanks Moose. I definitely need the recharge time. I have to start thinking school though; I have 2 books to read and write test questions for and some powerpoints to update. Just 3 weeks to go. =-(

How do you deal with the smelly kids?Ha! Lysol, actually. My planning period is 2 classes before the end of the day. During my planning, the kids are all in their electives - many in PE- so it's only the last 2 classes of the day that are bad. I spray Lysol right before 6th period starts and then again after dismissal.

More like, how do you deal with all the raging hormones?They're not too terrible at 11 and 12. It's the 13+ 7th graders that are crazy with a capital C. I only have a few 13 y/o each year due to previous retentions so it's not too bad compared to classrooms full of testosterone and estrogen.
