3 Months!

I can't believe my little ticker says 3 months. I honestly feel like the last 3 months have flown by so I can't even imagine what these next 3 will be like! I think I'm doing ok though. I'm almost done my invites, then I still have programs, table names and escort cards to do. I also have to finish my centerpieces! I have my hair trial and dress fitting next month so now if I could just finally find a pair of shoes that fits everyone I think I would be golden! Am I forgetting anything???

I would make a list of every possible little thing you want to have done so you can see it all on paper and prioritize. It will be here before you know it. I can't believe I just made my apt for facial and pedi and have been finalizing with vendors. It's amazing how fast 14 months goes by! Oh and boat loads of $$

Sounds like you're doing well with time! I agree with Diana-make a list of every little thing that needs to be done.  Even if I have a million things to do, crossing things off a list always makes me feel good! With table names, do you know what you want to do?  Are you naming the tables by year? Or do you have another theme? Let me know if you need any ideas! :-)

We are naming the tables after restaurants we have been to and loved. Since FI's a chef he's a real foodie and I like to think I am now too because of his influence. We are putting the name on the front and then a little description about the restaurant-where it is, what we went there for i.e our first date, anniversary, birthday-on the back. What are you doing?

That's a really cute idea! We were thinking we might do years and have pictures of us during that year or Christmas/Wintery song names since our theme is "Winter Wonderland."  However, a married knottie was selling her wintery table number cards and they were so beautiful that I bought them off of her.  So now we are just going to have regular table numbers but they look really pretty! :-)

Looks like you are moving right along!  Are you still looking for red shoes?  I wish I could think of somewhere else for you to look. Love the table name idea!  We are still working on that but think we are going with European Cities (with a B&W photo from that city on each table).  I have traveled but FI hasn't but its something we want to do together.  Any other ideas?

I think we are going to David's because they have a cute dyeable shoe I like with a heel that's not too high and they come in wide widths so we won't have to worry about them being too narrow like the last pair. Before we came up with restaurant thing we were going to do the picture of you and FI at that age at each table. He saw it in the knot magazine (yeah he reads wedding magazines...he even went so far as to ask if they made a Grooms one since I had Brides-sometimes I worry about him) and loved the idea. I honestly think it's a detail only us as brides care about it. That's not going to stop me from putting time and effort into mine but I don't think they matter that much.

I agree with that it's just fun to do! I am so upset I only have one more DIY project and that's putting the monogram sticker on the candy buffet bags oh and OOT bags if anyone ever books there room.
