Friends or ours married there and I think you have to go thru Collettes Catering. Have you tried calling them?

my daughter has booked the Muck for June of next year. marcv004 has a good idea, call Collettes. We had no problem getting ahold of them. let us know how it goes.

Mukenthaler Mansion is a beautiful site & actually one we considered in the beginning. We did try getting a hold of them but had problems too so one day we just showed up & they were actually with another client. Just a word of caution because I experienced the same thing...if they're hard to get a hold of now just be cautious for when you actually book them, give them your money & then need to get answers out of them later. We're dealing with an un-responsive venue now & they were hard to get ahold of at first too...I should have known then!

That's so strange, I had the opposite problem, them and Collette's catering were callin me alot. I loved the venue, but it was a little different for Groomzilla's taste

I spoke with them but didnt like their lack of professionalism. Also I think their Sat minimums were VERY high, like 15 or 20k I was told.

We also looked into them and felt the same way about the min.'s being high for what they offered. Originally, they seemed reasonable but there are a lot of fees that you don't realize until you sit down to chat with them [up-charge for non-plastic plates and utensils type things]. Nonetheless, it is a beautiful house! We really liked the Italian Garden and fireplace. We had similar communication problems, but to tie in with PP - we couldn't get ahold of them when we needed to speak with them, but they DID manage to phone us quite often on their own :) We phoned Collete's Catering directly and made our appointment to view with them. Perhaps the ladies on projectwedding might have some advice on how to communicate with them in the Muck's reviews? GL!

we went to see them about a month ago. the initial appointment set up was easy (called Colette's and got an appt for the following weekend), but our appt was booked about 1 hour before a wedding! We were walking thru the bridal party and I felt so awful, and I wouldn't want that done to me. The actual tour was quite brief, I was not provided with prices even when I asked for them, followup communication was sparse and slow, and I felt like they offered very little. I am now going with Tustin Ranch Golf and am very happy with my decision!
