PSA- if you are searching for a limo....

Hello fellow knotties! As some of you know - I had a BIG problem with our limo company that we rented for our wedding this past weekend. We have called everyday since then, and all we have gotten from them is nasty phone calls back and only an offer of 5% of our money back. We have filed reports with the BBB in which we ask for half our money back because they provided half of the service they promised and await their reply. Please - DO NOT do business with these men. What you see on their website and at the bridal shows is NOT WHAT YOU GET!!! What you do get is a filthy, smelly limo that is falling apart inside. What it seems like is that this is not a legit company - it looks like two guys just put their money together, bought the H2 and are renting it out. We had to search for an address to give to the BBB and when we called and asked for it - he said he couldn't give us one. They don't have any previous complaints against them because I don't think anyone could find the address. Also, when looking for a company - make sure that you have their address, a legit phone number, and if they are mean to you when they speak to you on the phone - STAY AWAY. please knotties - stay away from www.platinumlimoh2.com the prices are super low....but you get what you pay for - and it is NOT worth it.     thanks for the post! I already booked my limo and am confident they will come through....But I always forget about checking the BBB website for other vendors! I needed the reminder :)

    vmalcolm, I think the other thing you told me is important too--maybe don't pay all up front like the one limo co. was telling me I had to do--at least if you pay half up front then half the day of you have some leverage if someone finds themselves in your situation.  Sorry they stunk :-(

    I will definitely keep that in mind ... not sure if we're having a limo but these guys are definitely out! Sorry that happened to you! =/

    thanks everyone for reading - I'm just glad that people will know about them now - even if we don't get any $ back. Hubby and I are just glad that this was the only glitch in the wedding we had!! Thanks for posting the link - we did in fact find the address on the contract page - we then both filed our reports with the BBB. It just really bothers me that they are still going to go out and do all the bridal fairs and some such. well - all i can do is just post again around fall time !
