Poll: Something stupid FI has recently done/said.

This board is WAY too slow ladies. This sin't really a big thing that FI did...but it made me laugh. He just walked into the room and we were talking about our cake and this was the conversation: Him: I think we should have a cream colored cake Me: It won't go. Everything in the wedding is white. Our colors are an oceany blue & lime green w/black and WHITE accents. Him: I like to think that I have good design sense sometimes and I think it would look very modern and nice. Me: It just doesn't go w/the big picture of modern and clean. My dress is white, the damask pattern is black and white (and we're replicating the damask pattern on one of the tiers) we're using white anemones etc... Him: Well...I don't really look at things in the "big picture." Me: Well then that sort of blows to $hit your "awesome design sense" doesn't it?! lol

    well my lovely mother in love whom i love so much, will not stop inviting people. every time i get an e-mail she is adding someone new who FI has no idea who they are. She is killing me! So i proceed to tell FI that his mom needs to cut it out and he gets pissed, defending his mom but also pissed at her, and said well if you did not have to get those stupid chairs (referring to chivari chairs) we would have more than enough room to invite everyone. ( because we have to store the club chairs in a back room which if we werent storing them back there we could use the space for the wedding but I didnt care i wanted the chairs i am a freak about chairs) and I say um we have more than enough room to invite more people. but I asked for yours and your moms lists months ago and now you are deciding to add more! long and behold we added another 10 people to the list. we started wanting a 100 people and we are up to 145. Its never going to end. So with that said I went and meet with a Day of Coordinator because i have had enough with stressing out about everything and how its all going to work out. I did not have a great day yesterday! but im over it, they just do not understand when you add someone its not just adding someone its adding a chair, more linens, centerpieces, chargers, food, bar. Its like a never ending list, but she doesnt not seem to get that. Oh Well.

    J&K: That is very annoying. They don't realize that one person can throw the whole thing out of wack. If even that ONE person requires you to add an extra table they could costs you HUNDREDS of dollars and NOT just your pp price. That stinks. Have a glass of wine. ;)

    clseale--LOL! Ah, men. JK--You've got to stop the madness. Believe me. I've never heard of anyone glad that they added 50 people to the guest list.
