anyone in wedding stress mode

 i am totally stressing with this planning.  between finding a photo and video,  how much things cost, bms that are too busy to try on a tentative dress and will be leaving for school soon, and not having anyone to help me (fiance is great thank god). my mom passed away when i was a kid so i have that in the back of my mind. does this go away lol.  im off for the summer so wanted to get things done but i dont know if im doing things in a timely manner. i feel like i have SO much to do. planning isnt fun today!all i have is a venue, church/priest, my dress, ring pillow, baskets for programs, and a band.

    yes we need to pick our photographer, and book our HM by the end of the month, and I have to get my GMA car in my name and insurance by the end of the month.

    All of my sisters are in Illinois so I dont have much help here besides my DOC (love her) but thankfully I have Dana coming over tonight to help with programs. I was very stressed I think up until this past weekend when I got most of the favors done. Take a deep breath because soon you will be where I am and you dont want to forget what is going on around you. I have 16 days to go and I think I am in betweeen stressed and excited ...but who knows what tomorrow brings. You have time you will get it all done believe me I didnt even book a photo/video person until 5 months before and the limo I just booked last month. Heck I just talked to the organist yesterday..lol

    I personally think you are ok on time-  If all of your girls can't go, get the one that does and make a decision with her.  All of my girls didn't get to try on the dress.  You choose, get their sizes and put order in-

    i wish it as that easy.  when i went with them one said that her mother wont pay for a dress that the girls dont like.  They are 3 sisters, two in college and one in hs.maybe its not true but hard to think otherwise because of how aunt is being

    What you do then is say listen, dresses need to be ordered soon so you need to speak now or forever hold your peace.  If they then refuse to order a dress that they haven't tried on and there's going to be a financial issue, tell them that they maybe shouldn't be bridesmaids.  Problem solved.Wedding planning is stressful and time-consuming, but it sounds like you maybe aren't handling stress in the best way you can.  Deciding between two photographers and having one bridesmaid not try on the dress yet are not life and death situations.  Sometimes you just have to stand back a bit and get some perspective before you decide that they're terrible tragedies.

    i totally agree with you.  these BMS are sisters and 3 of them.  hopefully they will go if not i will do what i have to do.  what makes it tougher for me is that im trying to keep the peace with them and their mom.  i dont handle it well because i try to keep the piece and am trying to not spend tons and tons of money
