6 months to go and need Venue with a view

Hey ladies, I need some advice on reception locations that have a pretty view. I have seen the Miami Beach Resort and Spa which has the Starlight Ballroom on the 18th floor overlooking the beach and intercoastal. I love it, but am concerned about the actual hotel itself since many guests would be stayng overnight... I also saw the Doubletree Grand on Biscayne and the view is gorgeous, too, but I think the room is smaller than I expected. What other places have either views of the city, bay, or beach? I don't want my guests just stuck in a four walled room with nothing to look out at! Thanks!

Not sure what your budget is but my venue The Epic Hotel is beautiful and they have menus starting at $125 per person! If you do it on a Friday or Sunday it may be negotiable. Also, there is a place in Hollywood but I can't think of the name of it... I want to say it's a marriot or a sheraton that overlooks the intracoastal... anyone??? Shane Center is nice.... what else?? Oooh the Hyatt Pier 66....

if you don't mind Sunny Isles beach, the doubletree oceanpoint is super nice is right on the beach.  You can have a beach ceremony or one on the terrace overlooking the beach.  Also, if you want to stay in Miami, the bank of america sky terrace is nice.

Jungle Island has a room with a view.I know you said you saw the Doubletree Grand.  Did you go next door to the Marriott? The Shane Center has a great view.  Deering Estate is gorgeous and so is the Spanish Monastery (but I believe this is all outdoors).

Just a thought, if you get in a bind.... I went to a wedding once on the beach, and the wedding was in the evening, and we honestly couldn't appreciate the view because it was dark!! Just a thought :)
