RSVP relief!

I am almost done with collecting RSVP's!! We had put down 2/10 as the reply by date, but we were still waiting on about 18 people as of this morning. We're meeting with our venue early Saturday, so I didn't want to push it until tomorrow to get in touch with everyone.

I put FI on the task (all of them were his side anyway!) and he's gotten in touch with everyone and is just waiting on responses!

So excited to cross the waiting game OFF my list :)

    Just warning you that doesn't mean Jack. I contacted all my waiting game people a week before and there was still a large group that still couldn't manage it. Don't be suprised if it happens to you too!

    Ditto to what Whit said. Our RSVP deadline was a week ago today. We're seriously still waiting on the responses of 8 guests. If I don't hear from them by tomorrow night though, they go down as a no. It's a family of four, a couple, and 2 single guests.

    Yeah, I know... most of them are out of state, so we're pretty much figuring that if we've asked a few times and still have no response, they're getting a big NO on my list.

    Our RSVP deadline is next Satureday and we're still waiting on about 30-40 cards.  FI has spoken to most of them to remind them, but now we're waiting on them to send in cards.  Why is it so darn hard for people to return them?!

    A few of his friends had already made travel arrangements, but failed to let us know that they were coming.  This is definitely the most frustrating part of wedding planning.

    I had a bunch of people that I talked to that just didn't (and aren't going to) send the cards back. I marked them down on the list for yes or no, but noted that we never got a card. I don't get it either - it's already stamped people!! Write your name down and put it in the mail!!!

    We did have a couple people that reserved rooms at the hotel we blocked out, but I never got a card from them either. I only found out because I was getting reservation updates from the hotel. When I saw their name, I got in touch to make sure, but they STILL haven't returned the card! UGH.

    My rsvp date is today and only have about 30% back. luckily I know hor our family works, so I set it early, I dont have to give final head count to venue until 2/25. so now i will just harrass them for 2 weeks! lol

    I am worried though about how many people will show that didnt rsvp, and at the price we are paying per person this could really throw off my budget! ugh
    I half considered having a bouncer with a quest list and if you didnt rsvp you cant get in! lol Kinda kindding :)
