omg wow... are you kidding?!!  where did that time go?  haha i might crash your party ;)  i haven't been there since my wedding (well, i drive by, but haven't eaten) and miss it so much.  i am so jealous you get to live that awesomeness and cannot wait for pictures.  are your RSVPs back or not yet?

i hate stragglers... just either send the yes or no and be done!  have you thought of seating chart yet?  not sure if you're over 100 guests, but we got rid of that table in the cove, you know, all the way back by the fireplace and balcony stairs?  was just kinda weird to me, but we only had 98 so it was perfect.  i love how on her seating chart she actually has the vendor/breakfast room with seats.  who would sit a guest over there?  isn't that weird?

Yeah we don't love the seating chart. Not thrilled about a table of 14 and then table of 4 people. So we need to change it a bit. We're having around 5 kids, so I was actually thinking they would be banished to the cove -- that way they will have fun by themselves but can't escape without going past their parents. So far I am guesstimating no more than 110 max, but the people who haven't replied for sure are driving me crazy. But even more than them, why won't the people who I know are coming send their cards? Hello, waste of a stamp!? :)Sandra has been really sick so it's been tough to get a hold of her. We have to stop by in a few weeks after we get our marriage lisence and go over stuff with Helene in Sandra's absence, but I have no clue if we will have final numbers yet. However, that job is on FI's list, not mine :) You really should stop by :) I'll be the one in the pretty Maggie dress! HEE HEE :)

don't tempt me.  i'll throw on a dress and swing by for a cocktail in a hearbeat ;)  thats a great idea to banish the kids to the cove haha... the tables threw me off at first, but it really worked out well in the end for my crew.  i had pretty much all the "adults" in the main room and all us "kids" in the other room closer to the bar/dance floor with the two large tables, making the large oval and rectangle tables great for friends, esp. those without guests.  it worked out well since the "adults" mostly stayed seated and eating most of the night anyway, but the "kids" could run back and forth more easily.  what did you pick for your menu?  i am hungry just thinking about it.

We're doing filet and salmon, with some sort of trio salad and we requested their spaetzle instead of potatos. YUMMY!!! Cocktail hour sounds amazing too. We went with strawberry shortcake because they don't know how to make red velvet and would have charged extra for it. Seriously, come say hello! Interesting about adults and kids...love it :)

how can they not know how to make red velvet?  pfffttt... strawberry shortcake is always a favorite though.  maybe you can get a grooms cake in red velvet?i wanted filet and salmon, but chose filet & chicken just to appease my boring, picky friends (helene brought me salmon anyway as a suprise though :)  your guests are going to love the duet platter... and seconds!  our best man had three filets.  boys are such pigs.

Ha I know. I loved your stories of second )or third) helpings! FI tells that story as well, to everyone who asks about the food. I'm getting him a cherry pie instead of a grooms cake, since he always said he wanted cherry pie at his wedding. Just can't decide if I want to give it at wedding or reh dinner.

a cherry pie, so cute.  are you having dessert served at your RD?  after we cut the cake and ate i had helene bring out bill's grooms cake.  it was super cute.  mom was mad bc she didn't really even get to see it, but we didn't annouce it or anything, it was just really for him.  is your bridal party staying the night?

I don't think there will be served dessert at RH, so wedding is prob better. Good idea :) Yup, we have all the rooms for night before and after :) So excited! I may even go two nights before...we shall see!
