No Honeymoon?

So, here's the deal. My fiance and I would love to have a honeymoon but it just isn't happened. I'm a contractor so I'm not allowed days off from work less I severly risk my job (day off free since '09) and my fiance is currently unemployed and will (God willing!) be newly employed come our wedding date making it impossible for us to take off for a honeymoon. I work a 6-day work-week so running away for a weekend isn't an option either. 

So...as much as it bums us out...we can't have a honeymoon. But a lot of my friends think we're crazy and don't get the point of us getting married if we aren't having a honeymoon. 

Any advice/tips on this one? Thanks!

    My only advice is the: Don't listen to "friends" who suggest you should not get married simply because you cannot plan a honeymoon right now.  Those "friends" sound like a drag on your happiness.  Go ahead with the wedding plans and, eventually, you will have a rockin' honeymoon!
