No air, no sea only by car

My future hubby is aftraid to fly and will not take a boat anywhere. We have to drive. We're in PA. Any suggestions for a honeymoon that'll feel tropical and resort-like without us flying or going on a boat?

    The only "tropical" place that comes to mind is Florida. What's the maximum amount of time you want to spend on the road? and in what month are you planning to travel?
