Engagment Pictures Outside Venues

Anyone have suggesstions on outside venues to get engagement pictures taken at?
We're going during the week, and we like both the city and country. Don't wanna travel more than 30 minutes for pictures. Open to any and all ideas.

    Schenley Park in Oakland
    The South Side has some great spots, as does the Strip District
    Mt. Washington

    If you have a creative photographer, he/she should be able to find a spot that looks country, even if it is in a completely urban area. I know that there are several spots in the South Side that have open fields and Schenley Park is absolutely fabulous.

    We had ours done in Mellon Park and then downtown.  PPG Plaza and Gateway Center.  We love them!!


    Pittsburgh September Siggy - Our honeymoon will be at the Royal Suites Turquesas in P*nta Cana. Super excited!

    We took ours around the stadiums. It worked out really well!

      I love the way Mellon Park looks in people's e-pics.

    There's also the Zoo and Kennywood for outdoor locations

    Definately can't beat Schenley Park..  lots of green AND you can see the skyline in the background.   Also try the South Side, Allegheny Landing near PNC Park, and/or Allegheny Commons Park on the North Side (by the Aviary).
