We do plan on saying a few things and thanking those who helped with the wedding. I don't think it needs to be long. At the dinner, say thanks to those who helped and apologize for any bridezilla moments--make it short and sweet. At the wedding, you can tell everyone thanks and how much you appreciate them being there. You can also give any info out then--like, please go by our candy table and take as much home....or please take the blah blah home....Make sure they know where your favors are. I wouldn't do a toast about how you met your man or anything, but it's always nice to hear the couple say a few nice things to their guests.

We did not do a toast.  FIL did a toast at the rehearsal dinner and MIL tried but was crying too much to talk.  BM and MOH did a toast at the reception.

Thanks Ladies. I was really unsure. I will have FI say a few things. I would have my ugly cry face if I did it.
