    My little car is dying.  Words you never want to hear from your mechanic...won't pass inspection next time :(

    Um I would just like to say that there is no such thing as an inspection in Kentucky. I was not happy to move here and discover what I have to pay out.

    barbie - mine was more like $1300 later and my car passed inspection.... and its only 4 years old! booooooo

    $200 to pass mine!!  Had to get a new break light.   Of course it had to be a certain LED light that had to be special-ordered, which took 4 days to arrive!  Had to take my mom's car back to DC with me because I didn't want to drive around with a broken tail light (plus my sticker was expired).   I'll get my car back next weekend when we come home again...  Lesson learned:  don't wait until the last minute to get your car inspected...
