Me and FI were at local fair and a local winery had a stand set up. It's a bottle your own place - They also have it so you can bottle your own beer (22oz each) and then do a personalized label for favors. We are going to consider this as a favor, but not sure how it would go over - wine is the standard "drink" favor for a wedding so. . .What do you think / how would you like?

Was it the Brewer's Apprentice? My friend did mini bottles through them for her wedding - I thought it was an awesome favor. They designed their own label with a picture from their reception site.MH & I made wine there recently that we're going to give as Christmas gifts this year, when we go to bottle it we're going to make beer too. I think it's a great idea!

I love wine favors. I love any favor I can eat or drink. Most others, I know it's rude and terrible to say...but I either lose them, forget them, or throw them away. Unless it's something really useful. So, to answer your question, I would love wine as a favor. Beer sounds cool too...is it supposed to be kept cold though?

Dior - good question! I hope it would be ok - Caketime- they said we could try a bunch first to decide which type - if it sux, would definately be a no go.

I love the wine idea as a favor - I'm actually trying to find out how I can do it too for my wedding - any suggestions for buying it in bulk?!

I think it's a good idea. We were actually considering this ourselves because FI brews his own beer sometimes at home, but he decided against it as a favor because he didn't want to deal with the process right before our wedding.Ditto Amanda, Brewer's Apprentice (the one in Freehold, right?) is a cool place. FI gets his supplies from them.

Good, but if I got it I wouldn't drink it bc I don't like beer. Also not everybody drinks alcohol. If that doesn't bother you, it wouldn't bother me, then good idea.

I am doing limoncello and I know there are people who wont drink it but thats true of everything...some people allergic to chocolate....people who dont like pic frames..etc...I liked my favor because I am putting time and effort into it and I figure if they cant appreciate it the screw em..lol...also then there will be more limoncello for knottie gtg;)
